What did the KKK do?
The Ku Klux Klan took violent acts against blacks in particular. They hunted these people down and attacked them, resulting in death a lot of the time. The Ku Klux Klan used to lynch people they didn't like. This meant that they would kill people through due process of law. This meant that the KKK could accuse African Americans of wrong crimes and have them executed. These African Americans have done nothing wrong. They were innocent. The police and many authorities were on the Klan's side. This made it very easy for the KKK to rid of black people. They could legally kill people and they did. It was wrong what they did and most Klansmen never got punished for it.
