Who is the Southern Poverty Law Center?

They are known as the Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC.  They fight to enforce the constitutional rights to all Americans entitled to these rights.  They are a fight against discrimination.  They started in the heart of the civil rights movement, Montgomery, Alabama.  The founders are Morris Dees and Joe Levin.  They were just two simple lawyers, who both seeked civil rights, and fair treatment for all.  These men will take any case that is unfair, even those avoided by most lawyers.  These people go out and help he people who are most vulnerable, and they protect them.  The SPLC is a non-profitt organization, and they stay alive because of caring people's kind donations.  The SPLC has a special unit in their organization called the intelligence report, it keeps an eye on groups like the Ku Klux Klan, letting them express their freedom of speech, as long as they keep it legal.
