Who was the Ku Klux Klan?
The Ku Klux Klan was a highly controversial group back in their time. They took cruel actions against other races that are illegal and wrong. But they lived in a time when racism and hate roamed the streets of the south. They were great contributors to this hatred. Police were scared of them and a lot of the officers actually supported these actions. They took violent acts against these other races, particularly African Americans, who just broke free of slavery. Check out the rest of this website to learn more about this Klan.
